Third to last event this year was interrupted by a heavy shower and blustery winds plus another of the club's inspired societies to slow down speeding Crispys. Scores were never going to be high so Steve Lowe's 38 points showed a high degree of skill plus only one 2 from Barry. It was notable that several previous high performers with either -3 or -4 to their names (Ali, Stu, Roy and Jason) all either bought or nearly bought crisps this week so we can only think that they were trying to encourage others, left in their wake. Having said that, the Treasurer had to put up with a great deal of banter on the 1st Tee and this obviously affected his game, so lay off him next week, guys. A vicious head to head by Bru and Mike 'the master' ended in stalemate with both on 28 points and no change in the Crispy league. For all, next 2 weeks are the last chances to leap up the leader board!
