With the promise of high pressure & warm weather the crispy golfers anticipation of good scores were high. However prolonged rain & misty weather soon put a dampner on the scores. Only one player managed par and that was Adrian Barratt with an excellent 40. He was followed by Mark Popham, again in second place with 35, Bob Irish third with 34, and Graham Cartwright on his reduced handicap in forth with 33 points on countback. There was disappointment in the clubhouse when it transpired that Malcolm Lawrence lost on countback and had to buy the crisps with three others !!. Please note that the "money pot" was £3 light at the end of the night.
