Lovely weather with some sun and quite humid. Course still hard and bouncy with slower true greens. After his devasting cut last week, the Oxpecker survived reasonably well this week as did the Golden Oriole. The Rockjumper was first with 39 points from the Slender Bulbul. The Groot Tinktinkie, after explaining his card, was third pipping the Cape Gannet. Buying crisps by the hatful was the Bush Blackcap, the Red-capped Crombek, sadly the Ring-necked parakeet and the Serinus Scotops who was ambushed by a cloud of Scottish gremlins. He now carries two 6 irons in case one is snapped by said gremlins - a cunning precaution. Congrats to the Blue-billed Firefinch on his hole-in-one last Friday: a magnificent shot off the middle of the bat which landed 3 feet from the hole and the rest is history.
