Considering the recent weather, for many, this was a nice day but the skies did close in later catching a few, poor things! John Snell was sighted hitting a rythmic drive at 17, although there were laments that the Sandman (one of their number) was away with an injured shoulder from carrying the Professor in last's weeks torrential rain, so we wish him well. Curiously 3 of the winners were carrying minus handicaps so 38 points was brilliant; on count back James Brice achieved first spot from Chris Coxon (a man to note), Alan Hannigan and Paddy the Pounder. In the pits but generously contributing were biggsy-babe, chastened, finewine, hoggwart, el presidente and our current leader newter (what's happening?). On another note, The President would like to point out Rule 21 which states that you have to declare, before you start, that you are playing in The Crisps and, even if you don't finish, you mustpay for entering.
