It was raining cats and dogs to such an extent that the course shut itself with the greens waterlogged for a considerable period. There were 5 Crispies who handed in cards and these have now been credited to the overall Championship. There will be no money taken from either the people successfully completing nor those that were floating around on the course. This decision is in line with rule 22. If rule 21 were implemented, two of those who handed in cards would have paid for the crisps. The conditions were unusual to say the least!
