| It was a nice sunny calm day for once with a hard bumpy grassy course. Trix, the Red-throated Wryneck decided not to play but did dress in a natty hexagonal patterned shirt. Not to be outdone, the Glossy Ibis (he of no indication) was in brilliant green. The Bush Blackcap was seen in a golfing hat sensation and the Golden-rumped Tinker Barbet (T.Biggs) was eventually seen having a Swift half. The Speckled Mousebird topped the scoring with 40, pipping the Corncrake (Compo), the Black Korhaan (R.Maslen) and the Nuthatch (T.Nuttall). The crisps were selfless bought by the Golden Oriole, the Crested Barbet, your very own editor and one or two others who had even worse experiences. Andy Murray won through so the day was not all bad! ****NOTE: Could people please make sure that they pay and take the right change. We've had two weeks where the money hasn't added up**** |
