| The weather was not nice with sharp squalls but the Crispies were up to it with a good turn out of 36 - nasty after such a long dry spell. It was nice to welcome Tom Sloman (playing off +4), Gary Kayser (fresh from the giddying heights of Seniors Captain) and others we haven't seen for a while. Winning though, was (struck with fairy dust), the Miller on 41 with a long way behind, Jon Foster, Ken Reid and Martin Short. In the losers' cell were Chaffed, tractor-crash, long stick broken, two of the newts and not-so-tricky. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your score is correct, although, as this is a friendly society, we can be generous if not so good looking as some. |
