NW wind and nasty squalls to start but sunny later. The scores were much lower than last week. The swifts were out early, with Biggsy 'the Mottled Spinetail' swift in the lead. They were only caught late on by the President 'Crowned Crane' who shot a splendid 36 to be third. Roger W, 'the Black Cheeked Waxbill' was first, with a fine 37. The Road Runner was slowed by his Crispy handicap, luckily for us, as he might have been first otherwise! The crisps were fought over in selfless fashion with Matt D, the 'Speckled Mousebird' coming last with Kevin B, the 'Bush Blackcap', both having 20 points. The scorecards are coming along although some of the strokes claimed seemed strange - check rules 1 to 12 if you are in doubt. Please put your club handicap and then strokes claimed down. You can either use your real name or bird nickname, if you can't remember or have avian flu.
