It was cloudy and a little chilly but spring is here and the leaves coming out! The Treasurer was out huffing and puffing, not the least put off by ribold comments from the Swifts who had a day to remember. Oxon was meandering down the 17th the wrong way but gently shown where the 18th was. A dull boom was heard as Scuse-me disintegrated after 20 points going out with 9 coming back; the golfing gods have a rye sense of humour! Winner this week was Ken Reid (off an increasingly dodgy handicap) with 37 from Alan Hannigan (with an increasingly dodgy handicap), then the Editor (surprisingly), The Old Pro and Kobe Adams (in a count back from 5 others). Losers are getting increasingly competitive with Chaffing-at-the-bit on 18, The Locksmith, Carpet-bagger, Muslin, The Sandman, Webinar (on trouble) and a new religious member, the Vicar. Cards are increasingly showing names, scores and 2s which is very helpful, so thank you all. |
