What a tough bunch the Crispys are! Apart from one or two who knew, the rest timed their golf to catch the rain as it started to bucket out of the sky. Some of the damp patches on their trousers had to be seen to be believed. Of course there was still sartorial elegance from Gary with a fetching shirt marked out in pink darts although that was overshadowed by a modest little number from our very own Tricky. Simon Day-Hitchen won by a canter with an amazing score of 40. Paying for the Crisps was fiercely contested with some understandable low scores, Rob Watts now being this season's second lowest scorer. Alan Hannigan was up to his usual tricks, manipulating his handicap up once again. He will be watched with interest as the season unfolds. |
