Well done Geoff tonight for your 39 points. A good score on yet another low scoring evening. It was a lovely evening despite the weather forecast, sun really bright and quite hot for a change. 33 players in all tonight, so a good turn out.

Playing isn't all that easy at the moment, you have to hit the fairways at the moment, stray off line and you are faced with a difficult shot out of the thick rough and you don't have to be far off line even the semi rough although short is still thick and punishing.

How desperate can some crispy members become... the worst yet was Stuart Coleman. Stu was all over the course tonight, every time I looked up he was playing yet another shot from a part of the course that no one should visit. Then to cap it all he was in the bunker on 17 and said as I was in ear shot "I'd better chip this one, it's the only way I'll get my name on the website tonight". Another excellent round tonight from our young superstar Tom Sloman. Tom came in with a gross 66. So in the cripsy he gets 34 points playing off his +5. Puts my 30 points off 9 to shame.
