It was another lovely summer day, perhaps a little humid since the ball was not flying through the air with the greatest of ease. This was a day when those who had invested in crisp buying had their just reward by being on the winners' rostrum. Jason Brock won with 42 points (cut 5), Jamie Tong second with 39 (cut 3), Steve Coomber third with 39 (cut 5), and Bruce Chadwick forth with 38 (cut 5). There were others with 38 but they hadn't mucked up the front nine quite so badly and were thus not penalised by having their crispy shots cut. It is to be hoped that the prize money was more than the original investment!
