| After very heavy rain overnight, the sunshine glinted off puddles around the course which was playing long. Scores again were low with a terrific competition to get into crisp buying positions! Oliver Yarde won with 37 points, the first to get over the gain line this season. Second was Nat Pepperel (in the leader's paddock again) with 35, followed by Kevin Oxley 32 and Steve Coomber on 31. In the crisps were Jeff Andrews, John Compton (seen visiting entirely the wrong bushes at 16), Roger Wallburton (welcome back) and our own President beginning to build a useful handicap. |
